Early mornings are the best times to go the beach! You beat the crowds and the blistering mid-day heat. A tradition in my family is to get up early, head to the deli, get a fresh egg sandwich on the best Long Island bagel, and head to the beach. If you get there early enough you can catch the DEC collecting water samples and driving their pick up along the beach. This is just a fun site to see and it is reassuring as well! That is my inspiration for this piece.
